Srinath is a molecular microbiologist and biotech entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in life sciences and more than 8 years of experience in venture building.

He founded GenoPhe Biotech in 2018 to translate deep biological science into accessible, scalable health solutions, and currently leads the company’s strategy, product vision, partnerships, and company building.

Prior to this, he spent over a decade at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore (2002–2017), where he worked across research and translational science and later taught undergraduate students. He earned his PhD from the Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (IITR-CSIR) in 2002.
